What’s your favourite part of working at Northern Mat and Bridge?
I love the challenges each day – there’s always a new puzzle for me to solve. The main reason has to be the people, though – knowing that I get to work with such great team members who love what they do is one of the reasons I come to work happy.
If you weren’t a dispatcher at NMB, what job would you like to have?
I’d love to be the CEO, or the VP of Operations.
How did you first decide to apply at NMB?
I was out for lunch with a friend and some employees of Northern Mat. Usually when you ask people where they work, they usually have at least one bad thing to say, but that wasn’t the case. It was so refreshing to hear from so many people who loved their jobs – I immediately asked them who to send my resumé to.
If you had a time machine that only worked once, what year would you travel to and why?
I would travel to 1980 and invest in Apple and Microsoft.
What’s your favourite meal?
It’s gotta be steak – I love Alberta beef.
What’s your favourite movie?
The Last of the Mohicans.
What’s one thing you can’t live without?
My kids.
When it comes to snacks, do you like salty, sweet or both?
Salty – movie popcorn loaded with butter is one of my faves.
If you could retire on the beach or in the country, which would you choose?
The beach.
